    Nubra valley is one of the most visited valleys of Ladakh. The scenic landscape is situated In Jammu and Kashmir state of India. This valley is a tri-armed valley. The valley is located at the north-east of Ladakh. Local people say that the original name of the valley was Ldumra, which means “The valley of flowers”. The valley is located at a height of 3048 meters from the sea level. To visit this valley, foreigners need to get a protected area permit and Indian citizens are also required to getan Inner Line permit. The valley offers a tremendous scenic view.

During this time, one can enjoy the beautiful sight of the paradise. The majority of people are Buddhist. The valley is famous for Hippophae forest. Peas, barley, apricots, walnuts, blood apples, variety of fruits and nuts are produced by the people here. Nubra valley is one of the best treasure of our planet.

    How to reach Nubra Valley

    By Air: The nearest Domestic Airport is LehKushokBakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh, roughly four and half hour drive from Nubra Valley.

    By Train: Jammu is the nearest railway station. One can either hire a taxi or board a bus to reach Leh and then Diskit in Nubra valley.

    By Road: Nubra Valley is linked by major cities like Leh, Saraks, Kargil, Keylong, Srinagar, Bhunter and Palampur. It is well connected through Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) and some private travel services.
