Arrival in Chennai Airport . Transfer to Hotel . The major tourist attractions to visit are Fort St. George , Kapaleeshwar temple and national art gallery . In the evening we shall visit Marina Beach. Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram . It is one of the most religious towns in south india and is also considered to be the religious capital of South India.
We shall visit Kailasanthar temple, Ekambareshwarar temple, Vardarajanperumal temple and the Sakkiswarar temple.
Later we shall drive to Mahabalipuram .We shall visit the Shore temple , Krishna’s butter ball and Arjuna’s penance. Overnight at resort.
After breakfast we proceed for Pondicherry , a french colony in the past .
We shall visit Shri Aurobindo Ashram , later we shall take a rickshaw ride in the french colony. Overnight at Hotel
Today we shall ride towards Tanjore . On the way we shall stop by at Nataraja temple at Chidamabaram
Later drive to Tanjore , a city rich in art , music and handicrafts. In the afternoon we shall visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram and the Brihadeshwara temple . In the evening we shall visit the Tanjore palace . Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast we drive towards Trichy , located on the banks of the river Kaveri . At Trichy we shall visit the beautiful Rock Fort Temple and also visit the Srirangam Temple .
Madurai was the ancient capital of the Pandya kings.
In the morning we shall visit the majestic Meenakshi Temple ( photography is prohibited here )
Later in the afternoon we shall visit the Tirumala Naik Palace .
In the evening we shall again return back to the Meenakshi Temple to see the evening rituals and ceremony.
After breakfast we shall proceed to Kerala and first visit Periyar.
Enjoy a boat ride in the national park to see various wildlife like elephants , birds and deer etc.
Today after breakfast we shall leave for Allepey , also known as the Venice of the East.
We shall board the traditional house boat. Enjoy the boat ride in the back waters of Allepey . Dinner will be served on board.
Drive to Kochi , one of the most beautiful destinations in South India famous for its beaches , culture and traditions .
Check into hotel . In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Kochi.
Sightseeing includes the Mattancherry palace also known as the Royal Dutch Museum . We shall also visit the Jewish Synagogue . In the evening we shall visit the St Francis church , The Chinese fishing nets .
Later enjoy a kathakali dance performance .
After breakfast , proceed to airport for departure.
