The two week tour includes the ancient monuments of Bhubaneswar and Konark , followed by a journey to the rural belts of Southern Odisha and Chattisgarh . One will get to explore the vibrant and colorful local haats , where you will meet the indigenous communities selling local products and also will get a chance to see the old agricultural methods and a lesson in organic pottery making . The journey will take you through lush green paddy fields , followed by pollution free walks through lesser known roads which will soak up your spirits.
Arrival at Bhubaneswar . Meet and assistance at airport . Transfer to hotel . Later proceed for half day sightseeing of Bhubaneswar which includes the Jain caves of Khandagiri and Udayagiri and the State tribal Museum
After breakfast we proceed for a full day city tour of Bhubaneswar , which includes the ancient temples of Parshurameswar , Mukteshwar , Lingaraj ,Rajarani ,Vaital and the unique 64 yogini tantric temple at Hirapur. Later in the afternoon free at Ekamra Haat and local market
Drive to Puri after breakfast , on the way visit Dhauli peace pagoda . Stop at pipli famous for applique work . Later visit the Sun temple at Konark which is also UNESCO world heritage site . Later we visit fisherman villages and drive to the holy city of Puri. We take a rickshaw ride at the grand road of puri . On the way you can see pilgrims from all over India.
Today is a long drive to South Odisha . We shall be driving around 300 kms to Pushangia , region of the tattoo faced Maliah Kondhs . After reaching in the evening , check into the eco cottages and proceed for a small walk in the nearby villages . Overnight at eco cottages
In the morning we will take a short trek to the villages of the Maliah kondhs , later return back to the resort and drive towards Rayagada. Overnight at Hotel
This day should be a Wednesday . After breakfast we will be driving to Chatikona weekly market of the Dongoriya and Desia Kondhs . These weekly markets are the points where the tribes walk down from the hills and come to sell their fruits and vegetables . Later we will drive to Jeypore , on the way visit Mali and Kuvi kondh villages , who are agriculturists by profession. Overnight at Hotel
This day should be a Thursday , on this day we will drive 75kms to visit Onkudelli Weekly market of the Bondas and the Gadabbas , post lunch we shall visit villages of the Parojas , Ollar gadaba and the Pottery makers
Today we will be driving towards the state of Chattisgarh . On the way we will stop at the textile village of Kotpad and drive to the weekly market at Lohandiguda which takes place only on fridays. Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast we shall visit villages of the Bison horn maria gond tribes . Later visit the colorful weekly market at Mardum . In the evening we visit the most beautiful Chitrakut waterfalls also known as the Niagra falls of India .Overnight at Hotel
Today after breakfast we will drive 300 kms towards Raipur , on the way we will stop at Kondagaon village famous for ferro metal craft .Overnight at hotel
